Thank you for your interest in applying for certification for your hospital from the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS). Please note that there are three levels of certification, depending upon various factors, including hours of operation, specialist staffing, facilities and equipment.
The certification process is entirely electronic and does not involve site visits. This trust-based approach is designed to reduce the costs of the certification program and requires each hospital to provide written, pictorial, and video documentation of its facilities, staffing, and equipment.
The certification will last for a period of two years at which time a renewal application is then required, which may involve a change or update of the level of certification and confirmation of accordance with standards.
New Application Fee: $150.00 Non-refundable due with application submission and a fee of $150.00 due upon approval.
Re-Certification Fee: $200.00 Non-refundable due with application submission and a fee of $200.00 due upon approval.
